VI-accessible singing workshops at DanceEast starting September 2018
Following two successful pilot workshop series, we are thrilled to have received funding to continue and grow the Unscene Singers!
What? Fully accessible singing workshops led by Unscene Suffolk’s Musical Director Amy Mallett. Songs will be learnt by ear and distributed in large print or audio format. The group will work towards performance(s) including involvement in a large choral festival at Snape Maltings in spring 2019.
When? Mondays 2.30-4.30pm from 3 September 2018
Where? DanceEast, Foundry Ln, Ipswich IP4 1DW. Our volunteers can meet you from local buses and trains.
How much? £5 per session.

In autumn 2017 we piloted a series of VI-accessible singing workshops, led by Amy Mallett and supported by DanceEast, who hosted us at the Jerwood Dance House.
The project was very successful and the group showcased their work publicly on 8 December at the launch event for the East Anglian Children’s Hospice Lantern Parade. Check out our highlights video above!
